Splash about in the sun as the Strand reopens

Inflatable arm bands at the ready – the Strand’s swimming pool opens for business tomorrow.

The outdoor pool has been refurbished during the winter, with a new drainage system and CCTV cameras benches and kiosk installed.

The pool will be open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm on weekends.

During the summer holiday the pool will be open from 10am to 6pm daily.

Entry costs £3.80 for adults, £2.50 for children. Under-threes go free.

The season ends on Sunday September 7.
