Youngster fighting for life after being hit by vehicle on Town Road in Cliffe Woods, Rochester

An 11-year-old boy is fighting for his life after been runover in Rochester.

The boy was hit by a vehicle on the B2000 Town Road in Cliffe Woods on Thursday.

The youngster, who has not been named, was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital with serious injuries and remains in critical condition. 

Police were called at 5.55pm, the road was closed to allow emergency services to attend but was reopened shortly after 11pm.
