Commuters faced a major headache on the north Kent line this morning after it was forced to close for a brief period due to signalling problems.

Services running through Faversham were cancelled or delayed during the peak hours.

Southeastern says it is expecting delays to its services to continue until 11am.

The line was re-opened shortly after 8am.
