Tuition fees for most adult education courses in Kent will be frozen from September.
The move is part of a government push to encourage more people to gain qualifications.
Kent Adult Education Service is one of the largest in the UK serving around 35,000 mature students.
Students will have a choice of more than 4,000 courses from September – with most having tuition fees frozen.
Adults can also brush up on maths and English for free through Skills Plus Centres throughout the county.
KCC head of adult education Ian Forward said: “We are delighted to be able to freeze prices this year.
“Our courses continue to evolve and I would like to think the forthcoming programme is one of the best ever with something for everyone.”
