Firefighters end stuck cat's four day tree saga

Firefighters rescued a stray cat from a tree – ending the miserable moggy’s four-day plight.

The cat was brought down from the tree in Northcote Road, Strood, on Saturday, August 22.

The RSPCA looked after the stray and as no owner came forward she has now been found a loving new home.

RSPCA Inspector Alana Chapman said: "Cats unusually manage to get down from trees on their own within the first 12 hours or so, but this one had been up there for four days so was clearly stuck."
